In conclusion advanced imaging technology should be used to peer under people’s clothes to find metallic or nonmetallic threats. This method of security is not harmful to a person's health because it doesn’t use X-rays to look the person’s clothes, it bounces electromagnetic radiation off your body. If you don’t feel comfortable with this method you are allowed to opt out and the alternative will be a pat-down.

They do NOT pierce under the skin! They only PEER under your clothes and not into your skeletal system. I believe you are talking about the X-ray.

As time goes by they are trying to make the scanners shorter and shorter. Now scanning only takes 15 seconds, and they are trying to make the process even faster. 15 seconds is really nothing, remember SAFETY COMES FIRST.

Some people do not like the opt our option because they feel like they are being touched in a inappropriate way, but usually officers do not mean it in that way and are never allowed to lie about the scanner. If this happens you are allowed to report to the police and they will go to jail.

The metal detector can only detect metal. Back then, that was good enough but technology and weapons have become more complex. Now they have liquid and plastic explosives. The body scanners can detect all of that while the metal detectors can't.

The number of terrorist attacks have significantly decreased since the scanning program has started because it became more difficult for passengers to bring dangerous or illegal items on board.

There are no officers allowed during the screening process. This may have happened doing the pat down.

The TSA has also helped many veterans, and injured warriors during this program. TSA has assistance for injured veterans and wounded warriors. TSA also helps assist travelers with disabilities and medical conditions which makes it easier for their traveling experience.

The X-ray scanner is even more dangerous to the body then the millimeter wave scan. Millimeter wave technology is the safest scanner.

Again it is a ghost like image of the body NOT graphic! The scanning viewers do not know who is in the scanner either, it is harmless. Don't forget, there is always the opt out option.

The people viewing scanners are in a remote place that will be away from the other passengers which will raise fewer privacy concerns. Since the viewers are in another room, they do not know who is in the scanner. No cameras, phones, or printers are in the scanning room so they woould not be able to save the photos, as it is illegal. It doesn't exactly violate the peoples privacy because the photos are ghost like NOT graphic. The AIT scans under peoples clothing for metallic or nonmetallic threats without touching the person.

Honey, take a look around you. Every time America gets involved, the problem only gets worse.

America is NOT the strongest country. It may be a very strong but they still have their own problems. Before going and solving other country's problems I think its best they solve their own, they could just make things worse.

4 points

America can't even solve their own problems! If they try to help other countries they usually end up making things worse. America is a very powerful country and helping is always a great thing, but sometimes it may not be the best idea when you can't even help your own country.
